A workshop was conducted on scope of homeopathic medicines in treating deadly Cancer by the Advanced Homeo Health Centre on Cancer Day. Renowned homeopathic physician from Indore discussed homeopathy medicines and treatment available for patients suffering from cancer. The workshop was attended by homeopathic medical students and young graduates.
Director of the centre, Dr AK Dwivedi said, "After surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy patients do not get relief from the pain. They then approach homeopaths. Homeopathy medicines give good results in in such cases. Medicines can be taken along with allopathic medicines."
Dr Dwivedi further said that prostrate related problems including cancer in men are common. There is an important consideration while starting treatment for prostate cancer in early lesions, which are entirely asymptomatic and discovered incidentally. "Many of these patients may be very old and the treatment can have possibly more side effects and risks, which could outweigh the possible benefits the patient would derive from it. It is possible to manage such cases efficiently with homeopathy. Moreover homeopathy is the best option for palliative treatment," said Dr Dwivedi.
Coordinator of the workshop, Kanak Dwivedi said that homeopathy treatment starts with putting all vital information together and fine evaluation is done to prescribe suitable medicine. This constitutional medicine, which when administered in the correct dose treats the patient at an inner level and brings about harmony at the constitutional level.
